Pipeline patrol Captain needed west Georgia, with airport TBD based on successful candidate. Patrol captain is responsible for operating a single-engine aircraft at 500’agl in complex airspace environments while performing a high-quality patrol. Additional duties include technology interaction with our patrol camera systems, creating patrol reports and interacting with management and maintenance personnel to ensure patrols are completed in a timely manner according to contract.
This position is scheduled for Monday-Friday but will involve weekends and holidays depending on Customer needs. Compensation starts at $45,000 (negotiable) (salary) and benefits include 10 days’ paid vacation, medical, dental, and vision insurance paid for the employee. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
The successful candidate will meet the minimum certificate requirements of a Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating (no exceptions), be a dedicated worker, and flexible with what days and routes are flown in order to accommodate weather and maintenance schedule changes. The successful candidate will live within a maximum of one-hour commute of the aircraft base, and local candidates are highly preferred. Aircraft in the Barr Air Patrol fleet include Cessna 172, 182, 185, and T206 aircraft as well as multiengine aircraft with additional ME time requirements.
